  • ____ 2. Form W-2's Wage statements and last pay stub from the end of December last year.
                 If you cannot locate that specific pay stub, bring a recent pay stub.
  • ____ 3. Form 1099's Interest and Dividend Income
  • ____ 4. Form 1098 Mortgage Interest and Real Estate Tax statement
  • ____ 5. Summary of all medical expenses
  • ____ 6. Summary of all charitable contributions
  • ____ 7. Summary of all work related expenses
  • ____ 8. Cost basis of any investments you sold during the year
  • ____ 9. Real estate Buy, Sell, Refi: Settlement Statement HUD-1
  • ____ 10. Student Loan Interest Paid - Form 1098-E
  • ____ 11. Tuition Paid - Form 1098-T
  • ____ 12. Union Dues
  • ____ 13. A list of questions and issues you want addressed (optional)
  • ____ 14. Anything else which might be relevant

Prior to meetings with Robert Greene, CPA, please:

  • ____ 1. Open all envelopes.
  • ____ 2. Remove and unfold the documents.
  • ____ 3. Discard the empty envelopes.
  • ____ 4. Turn OFF Cell Phones, not vibrate.
                 They are rude and disruptive of thought, concentration and communication.
  • ____ 5. If you have symptoms of a cold or flu, such as a cough or a runny nose,
                 please call 24 hrs in advance to re-schedule.
  • ____ 6. Most Efficient Idea: Please make copies of the following to give to Robert Greene CPA:
                          (a) Last year's Federal and State Tax Return and
                          (b) Current year's documents
  • ____ 7. Do not bring a laptop computer, flash drive or CD with your information.
                 Print out on paper in advance, and bring whatever information you wish to present.
                 We do not have the time, in the context of a 60 minute meeting, to play with electronic
                 devices, look and find, then print on a network printer, etc., etc.
  • ____ 8. Teachers: You are expected to take at least 1 hour to review this website - before the
                 tax interview. Financially, this is the most important 1 hour of the entire year.
                 Do your homework, be organized, and prepare for this important class!

Face-to-face appointments may not be necessary.
